The program highlights Suchan's demonstrations of many techniques required to successfully propagate commercial walnut. Three years in the making, the program provides in-depth instruction in the āart and scienceā of selecting grafting wood; performing whip, side whip, and bark grafting; patch budding; topworking older trees; and properly planting walnut trees.
Also included are sections covering basic information on why and when these operations are done, as well as the tools needed for each operation. Viewers will also see a glossary of terms used in the program.
